These few words
These few breaths
In this moment
That is eternity
It is here that blue roses exist
As beauty in the midst
Of the tragedy
That is life
It is here that a love grows
Between a man and a woman
So alike
Yet so different
It is here that I decide
That my life
Is best lived
In service to others
It is here that I know
Material necessities
Sustenance
Will be provided
It is here that I know
My friendships
Will not fade
Into the dim past
In this wide moment
Where sanity reaches out
And calms my mind
I know that I have
