poem...philo

Posted by thinkfast on January 11, 2005, at 17:44:39

a doomed task of searching for someone
in arms reach of reality
cunning reflection of the person i seek
what a contradiction
here i am, this is me

dig, dig
re-write, re-write related ideas
they have no bounds
on a pedestal
why, is still seems wrong
is it too high?

to believe in what you've told
embracing the attributes of an abstract mind
great things to be done someday
still no sure if it's something
into which i should hold
it can't be believed
because confusion handed me the way i see
when will i believe?

dig, dig
re-write, re-write related ideas
they have no bounds
on a pedestal
why, is still seems wrong
is it too high?

thoughts are deep rotted inside
isn't it real when i percieve
without eyes in my mind?
dummy, crash tested and sitting beside
the passenger seat of life
watching it go by
awaiting catastrophe
he's just along for the ride

dig, dig
re-write, re-write related ideas
they have no bounds
on a pedestal
why, is still seems wrong
is it too high?

not so beautiful dreams
horrible daydreamed ideas
this, that i do
am i just wasting my time?
too many time i've felt the fade
confused and unrelenting pain
is it necesssary to make me sane?

is all to be found
self is only a collection of everyone else?

stumbled on these philosophies
from an aging entity
some conceited child within
spawning these curiosities

mined a chasm for a pedestal
but, i'm still devising castings for the base
instinct bounds into play
to help fill this blank space
to fill this thought gathering place
