Hi Malthus,
Good to see you back on the board. I'm not sure, in reading this, if the ethereal being accompanying you is a longed-for, healthy version of yourself or something more metaphysical, like your soul, which would be utterly untainted by the illness that taints both of our minds and bodies. And I must confess, I can't quite figure out the title and how it relates to the content. I was always an intuitive poet, so I'm much better at writing these things than figuring them out sometimes. I'd be very curious to find out if I'm even in the ballpark on this one. I do relate to the "I am not I" sentiment, the sense of dissociation from the person I perceive I could be (and maybe, deep down, am) if I could just slip out of this damaged brain for a little while and get the world to see the "real" me walking invisible beside the "ill" me.
