Atticus dear Atticus

Posted by Jai Narayan on September 1, 2004, at 21:03:16

I burn my candle at both ends
it may not last the night
but ah my foes
and oh my friends
it gives a lovely light

This was a poem my mother stitched in needlepoint, sequins and pieces of glass that look like diamonds....It was for my Aunt and Uncle, who were my second parents while mom was in the hospital with a breakdown.
To me you are that brilliant light.

Your light is that cozy place in my heart where, I know you and you know me.

I hope you come back to babble....
it seems like the lights on this site have dimmed with your exit. I miss you already.

Jai Narayan the woman who can touch the luna moth and come away with wings of her own.
