Hail, Queen of Atlantis,
Many thanks, as always. I think the anonymity possible on this site makes it possible for me to write about the less attractive aspects of my personality and those who have pointed them out to me (this thing with Tim was the most dramatic, coming at a time in my life when I was seriously unglued; it's always so strange to find out how some people see you and what they expect of you, especially when you never suspected in the least they felt that way). Tim teaches electronic communications (TV, Internet, etc.) at a Florida university now, but we haven't spoken in years. I guess I was too much of a disappointment to him. But the arrest actually was the first step toward Walter slowly getting his mojo back. I can't say this one episode, or a few others like it, magically got him off the heroin. It's been a long struggle for him, as it has been for me with the illness, and I guess both of us will be in there slugging away at our respective demons for the rest of our lives. But at least both of us are hitting back now on a consistent basis. Ta. Atticus of Atlantis, itinerant poet and cutpurse
