couple of poems

Posted by thinkfast on May 30, 2004, at 4:33:42

I recall
you've already been through this
i will not ask you to return
i wouldn't go, if even for a moment
the chance of relapse detours
not worth the torment
looking back against the grain
surely it's not likely
this is viewed indifferently
release the contradiction
untie the knot
everything is opposite
what I dreaded to believe
this direction of reflection
beholds a solace enclosure
to make a connection
I cannot see
cuz it envolves me
I recall
all of this you know
what was the thougt
that released to free?
you couldn't know, for there was circumstance
what about me?
i wanna talk about me
and the faith
of my fantasy
of this beautiful place
torturing grounds
i cannot touch
it's been missed so much
my solace enclosure
happy go-lucky
composure
i wish i was sure

rice paper sin
---------------
it's time
i'll be in, in a minute
it's 8:30
8:45
groove holds a ciggarette
collecting my pieces
these hands are full
unfolding this artwork
flattening the creases
up, down
left, right
over and under
no tears
edges tight
behold
erect ears standing guard
over the eyes of a thousand souls
a clown at the reception of adrenaline
synthesized incentive
hoping to win again
viewed objectively now
twisted in rice paper sin
almost time
it's 8:50
8:55
grey turns black before me
numerals make ready
images come alive
