well, sometimes writing, the process is a one way medium, like television, a book doesn't talk back to you, and there is no obligation to the reader, other than saying 'i like', to respond to a poem, so in a way through no fault of their own, most people enjoyed my writing (maybe), but weren't necissarily interacting with it.

i get your point though, my point is that in instances, the medium is the message you know.
