when I was 32

Posted by Jai Narayan on January 16, 2004, at 16:07:44

When I was 32
I was sitting at the breakfast table in the kitchen with mom and dad.
"You were the most difficult child we had," dad said.
My heart seized up. I suddenly felt like I was sinking into grief and that seemed beyond reason.
"Come on, that’s too incredible to believe Dad, since I know my sisters! You mean even harder than Pam running away from home and being found in a young mans bed? Or Nan cutting her throat for her second suicide attempt? Or how about Kelly getting drunk, crashing the car and then attempting to kill herself with sleeping pills? Come on Dad!"
