There ought to be a rule.

That when one is in the throes of an impossible deadline, any demands for future impossible deadlines be kept by the boss to himself and only communicated on the day following the first impossible deadline.

I feel like a pill popper. After I heard the horrendously impossible news, I was filled by an immensely strong impulse to kill myself. I was only able to control it by taking a klonopin and distracting myself like crazy until it kicked in.

What way is this to live a life or earn a living?

I tell myself that everyone's in the same boat.

Which reminds me. There should also be a law against a boss offering help, when the results of trying to obtain that help are to have the work handed right back with nothing done but a vague order for one to do it oneself.
