It's an old trick from Dr Bobs Tips section, but Benadryl is said to be useful for Effexor withdrawals, so would probably be good for Cymbalta too.

Some natural supplements could help considerably. Among them I would take small amounts of a combination of any two or three or these:
Passionflower
Valerian
Skullcap
Lemon Balm
All are good for anxiety, panic, and sleep.

For headaches, probably tylenol or advil, whichever works better for you. If they are super bad, my dentist said taking both at the same time is as strong as prescription pain relievers.

Another option is to get back on cymbalta and withdraw slower. Maybe take 15mg per day and reduce it by 1mg every 3 days. To do this, empty out the capsule in a small bowl. The beads are enteric coated. Approximately 10 of them equals 1mg. Count out your desired dose and sprinkle them on something soft such as applesauce or yogurt and swallow without chewing. Every 3 days just reduce the dose by 10 beads. There will still be withdrawals, but much tamer and more manageable. Not like being hit by a tank.
