Sorry for taking so long to reply crazyknitter, I forgot to activate email remiders for this thread. Since Klonopin has a longer half-life than lorazepam you may be experiencing anxiety breakthrough as your benzo levels fall between doses of the short-acting lorazepam. Klonopin is twice as potent as lorazepam, so the equivalent doses you are taking are correct.
You may feel better by going back to the Klonopin and taking a small amount at night and slowly reducing that dose while still continuing with your new lorazepam schedule. Are you taking 4mg lorazepam a day to equal the amount of Klonopin that you were taking before you went back to lorazepam?
Don't worry too much in any case as these problems are easy to solve by re-arranging your dosing schedule or perhaps considering a longer acting benzo.
