> Thank You!Most definitely! I can tell you from experience as I've been taking Ativan for about 20 years. You can't just stop taking it, it must be a very gradual taper. How long had you been on it before you ran out?
When you've been taking a Benzo such as ativan for awhile and then you stop suddenly the benzo receptors in the brain are saying, "what the heck, where's that ativan". That's why you got almost immediate relief when you finally took some. The longer the person has taken the benzo, the worse will be the withdrawel once the drug is stopped. Some of the symptoms of withdrawel from benzos are: Nervousness, depression, headache, lack of energy, loss of appetite, perspiration, and muscle aches.Tyler
