Thank you Scott for the advise... The Benadryl has helped loads with the anxiety.
I have also started the Zoloft 25mg/day for 2 days and I seem to be turning arround or I feel more numb and a bit disconected but am beggining to fuction again.
The anxiety and dression I've been feeling this time has been the worst ever. I am litereally scared to leave home for fear of encountering an axiety trigger.
Normal baseline depression for me is just sleep more and sit on the couch and watch tv. I stil go to work I just don't interact much... never really this bad..??
I did have withdrawl symptoms but just chose to ignore them. all the symptoms were mainly sensory and not emotional so I didn't mind just dealing with them.
Anyone had succes with holistic remedies, liver cleanse or ??...
Thanks all for your suggestions.

Btw: I have had all of the classic withdrawal symptoms from Effexor. Nausea, diarrhea, insomnia, brain zaps, tinnitus.

People report that it really helps with the physical withdrawal symptoms. Another drug that might help is Phenergan (promethazine). It would be particularly helpful with the anxiety.
