Hi meri-tuuli,

I took celexa for about 6 months, and my doctor tapered me fairly coarsely. That was quite some time ago and I was a general mess anyway. I had found the drug to be really unhelpful - I am not a teary guy, and I felt like crying the whole time - so I came off them and started Effexor.

Any new SSRI causes nausea, but I do not have experience with NARI's. Effexor does influence norepinephrine (weakly at low doses) and I did experience some nausea.

My withdrawal from celexa was not as marked as my first-time-round withdrawal from Effexor.

I would be interested to hear how you get on with Reboxetine!

Good luck

Ross
