I am trying to get off remeron(zispen im in the uk). Been on it 2 yrs at 30mg, so far I have had 2 unsuccesful attempts to get off this drug. Both times I ended up with the worst ever insomnia and then depression. But I am in the process of trying to get off it again and thus far over a period of 6 weeks I am down to 15mg. I think I will be staying at this dose for another 3 weeks and then down to 7.5mg. You are not the only one who has trouble getting off this stuff, other people on this board have expereinced it. This time I have the shoulder of lamictal to lean on which I think may be helping in as far as depression goes, but the insomnia is here again.

But yeah remeron does suck to get off.(for me at least)
