Effexor withdrawal - rebound depression

With my doc's agreement I've reduced from 150 to 75mg of Effexor over 2 months with only a few side effects (the usual head shocks etc, dizziness etc). However since going below 75mg I've been very depressed again, I had this with previous decreases in dose, but not this bad and I improved within a few days.
Has anyone had any similar experiences? Any advice?
