I was on 60mg of cymbalta for about 3 months, and felt as you do that it wasn't doing anything for me. So I cut first to 30mg and then the Board suggested cutting down by granules so I did this. I didn't have any side effects. I don't think I would have if I had stopped it cold as there were none when I went from 60 to 30mg. And I've always been on a benzo with AD's. If you don't want to go off sometimes the pharmacy will let you have a few to tide you over or call your pdoc for you. Fondly, Phillipa
