Stoping neurontin cold turkey

I have been taking neurontin for about two months. I went from 300 for about a month to 400 one week and 500 for about 3 weeks. What will happen if i stop cold turkey? trying to find out if the neurontin is giving me the heart palpitations. Thanks.
