I hate to sound like a broken record, but valium is used all the time to withdraw individuals from all types of meds. Xanax, alchol,etc. At the time I was involved in psych, klonopin was the "drug of choice" for all the pdocs. I don't know what they are using now as I'm no longer working. Fondly, Phillipa
