Let me tell you that our central nervous system does not heal in a linear fashion and healing can take months if not years. There is alot of info on w/d and how long it may last. Your doctor is full of it, IMO. I am just now starting to feel good after a year of a benzo and AP. It takes the brain time to readjust and you will feel worse before feeling better. I hope you find healing soon. Let me know if I can be anymore help. I have tons of literature on w/d.
