Hello, HB. I don't know the specifics but Campral suppresses the cravings for alcohol. In combination with individual or group therapy it's a great form of support. I have 6 months' sobriety today, and don't think I could have made it past the first 30 days without this medication.
It's not without side effects but they were more than tolerable compared to the depth of anxiety I had about being able to stay sober for any length of time.ClearSkies
