I am not sure if the compound you are reffering to is the anandamide mimicking compound of pot.

Exercise increases endogenious anadamaide, chocolate contains anandamide mimicking substances, as well as a substance that inhibits the breakdown of anandamide, marajuanna also contains anandamide mimicking substances.

Anandamide based drugs show profound antianxiety effects in animal models.


Exercise, chocolate and a little pot may well do better to scare away anxiety than does a valium.
