Nitrous can have a few health problems Aside from the obvious dangers of falling through a glass table or sufficating to death because you pass out with a mask attached to your head etc.
Long term use can lead to vitamin B-12 depleation. I think you have to be doing over 200 whip-its a week for a month or so to this be a problem. Obviously, if you already aren't getting enough B-12 in your diet, then it will be worse for you. On the other side, I have heard people taking B-12 suppliment pills to counter it.
The more alarming problem is if you are on if for more than a few hours. I think this does permanent genetic damage or something.
At one point, I was doing around 100 whip-its a day, for about 2 weeks. No permanent damage, I don't think. Certinaly not something I'd recommend. Also hard on the wallet ;)
