Greetings:

I suggest Orudis for pain, it's much, much stonger than advil, but is over the counter and non addictive. For my back pain, it is more effective than vicodin.

See the movie "Requiem For A Dream". Watch it intently, even by yourself, so there are no distractions.

As you continue to ween yourself from drugs, like weed and alcohol, you will feel like you don't know what to do with yourself. Even just a little weed and booze makes a boring evening seem interesting, or at least tolerable.

So what can replace the weed and alcohol? Try literature, or poetry, such as Keats. Why do you think General Patton read poetry? Because it gave him the strength to love life. Or read up on something you may have always wanted to "get into" but didn't have the time. So you replace the drugs and partying with education. I find it an effective antidote.

Don't let "IT" win.
