My depression has lifted, at least to the level that I can manage it with company from my Golden Retriever and a good glass of Cabernet. I quit taking 37.5 mg two days ago and have had a bad time with the "hippy hippy shakes"! I feel horrible and am ineffective. Who can advise on how long this will last? It is a lot easier to gut through when the end is in sight.

Hi there - You will probably get more responses on the Psyco Babble board for this question...I suggest you post it there. I have tapered off Effexor but went on to Lexapro very quickly after and had no problem. I hope it gets better for you...good luck.
