Oh Yeah...I truly do miss reading
for the fun of it - So, I have
audiobooks by Pema Chodron and
have listened to some classics,
Like "The Souls of Black Folks."
My point is, you're doing the smart
thing and staying connected to the
things you love.I HAD to revert to reading books
again. I just love the feel of the
book in my hand. If you choose to do so
some quick reads (and excellent) are:
"The curious incident of the dog in the night"
and "Running with Scissors"You geet wonderful writing in a adolescent's
voice, but laughter and harder issues come to
play. They're complex to stimulate your mind,
but mindless enough to release your madness.
Stay Literary - I know it's corny. I know Dr. Bob
is going to redirect this for sure to "Books"
It makes sense in the grand scheme of things.Best -J

> Before school I used to read 2-3 books a week, but now since I am so busy, when I go to the library with the kids, I don't even bother to check out any books for me because I know I will never get to them.
> Now I do like to check out CD's because I feel like I am in the car all the time and it is the only time to listen to music. Hey, I just thought of an idea, dugh! Why not get audio books? My college is 20 min each way, I could get through a book in a week, I think ? Hmmmm. Okay back to studying ;-)
