clue

Posted by alexandra_k on August 20, 2021, at 23:58:19

one of the most very very very very very influential movies for me as a child...

we had a dvd player... the moves i had... and what i was able to record etc...

labyrith was influential.

i never really liked it.

it was... i think it was the second movie that i ever saw... at the movies. on the big screen. and then i had it on dvd. and... it was hyped up. some kfc deal (or similar) for a cheap big screen viewing price...

i didn't really... get it. or something. it never really spoke to me.

i felt the same way about neverending story..

___

but...

clue.

was a movie that got me.

i was also a fan of the board game cluedo.

but the movie...

i knew enough to know that i did not know enough to follow the witty dialogue...

there were things over my head...

like any good simpsons episode...

but that fact of that... was like... a promise.

that there was (obviously) more to come.

everybody works for the government (it's washington)

(just like wellington)

everybody works for the government (one way or another)...

and so on...

susan sarringdon? maybe that was her name. not sure.

ms scarlet.

also on rocky horror picture show.

it is horrifying.

the government doing the time warp again...

i'll give you that.

xxx. i miss yuo.
