So...
I enroll in a (the) correspondance school of NZ.
I tell them my goals. My goals are to be competitive (aka viable) for application to US Universities.
The advise / support they offer me...
Only comes in the form of 'you must complete 1 teaching marked assignement per month otherwise the New Zealand Government won't pay us to have you on our pay-roll. We understand you paid us $110 (or similar) per course. But that means nothing to us. We really need / want / operate on the basis of the government payment which will only come if you submit one TMA (teaching marked assignment) per month. Otherwise we won't get government payment for you therefore we will remove you from our roll.'

Passover.
Passing y'over.
Not even possible to do business with the likes of you. Opportunity cost of wasting the time....
