it was funny because Cohh's been having problems. He lives someplace that's semi-rural in North Carolina. But of course he's live streaming video-games (including first person shooters like Escape from Tarkov) in, oh, I don't know, I think he likes to say 'buttery 60fps), High Definition... So he wants 100% internet connectivity with no lag. None. Nada.

And he has a tantrum if he drops frames. I mean really. Two year old toddler screaming trantrums. Yes. He does.

And so he ends up paying however much per month for a business plan. Because he can't have any dropped frames. (Maybe I'm being slightly facecious / tongue in cheek)... But... Well... HOnestly... He is being pretty demanding. Yes. But then his livlihood is dependent on it. So... Maybe he should be paying business rates for his internet, really...

And then that is still dropping frames. To the point where sometimes he loses connectivity entirely and needs to re-log, to be fair...

So then paying for a cell.. I don't know... Like a back up internet generator or something that is supposed to kick in in the case of a drop...

Anyway... It just reminded me a lot of what you wrote about. With all the different things going on all the layers of protection so that you don't drop frames. But still...

So it got a chuckle. And some sad feeling.

It reminds me of me buying clothes and stuff, too. I've realised I really don't do at all well with shop assistants. And so what that means is I need to get good at returning stuff. But I don't like doing that, either. So it means that shopping is always a mixed experience for me. When I get something I like that actually fits and still fits nice after I've work it for a couple days and things pad down or after I've washed it and the fabric does what the fabric is going to do (shrink a bit or or shrink a bit or whatever)... I'm happy. But often times it's just a broken-heartedness, really, of a bad decision made. The wrong size. Or it doesn't sit right after it's been washed. It's sad. The waste of money.
