I just don't understand why they couldn't just do their f*ck*ng job. Just process the application. Just process the completion. All the things. Why won't they just do their job? The job for which they are paid?
Oh, yeah, because they are only paid to do their job because they don't.
And why would it be so very very very very bad if I got to study Medicine?
What do they think I am going to do that would be so very terrible?
Oh, yeah, it's this whole idea of being grateful for whatever scraps you are given and that brownnosing is the thing that pays of best-est of all.
They want their kids knowing / believing that. They want that to be so. So their kids invest in brownnosing to them instead of investing their time in things like studying biochemistry or cell biology.
They don't want their kids thinking that there is anything for them in life other than a life of brownnosing to them.
And I represent something else. Options.
They don't like it. 'Go back to doing whatever you were doing before you came here' is their response.
If I won't brownnose to them they want me to go the hell away. They don't want anybody believing there is any other way in which to live.
