Typically no to halloween, here, but some of the stores will try and get it to catch on, and we do typically get some kind of halloween special television show thing for the evening. I actually would have thought there may be some trick or treating in suburbia -- but I didn't see anyone put decorations out, so maybe not. I think given the protestant influence, here, it might be frowned upon in these parts. My Mother took me out of girl guides / wouldn't let me continue after I went a time or two) under the pretext of objecting to halloween as a pagan ritual whereas they were getting us making costumes and planning to go trick or treating.
do you like those candy corn things? i think they taste kind of like how i imagine chalk would taste.
