I am wary about these 'minimally invasive' surgeries that are likely no better than placebo (because likely nothing much was done other than a little cut on the side of the joint, for example).
I am wary because people pay lots of money for that to be done...
But then: Placebo response is pretty good. It is a response, after all.
Give the people what they say they want, already. If they are willing to pay for it, if somebody is willing to pay for it...
Sigh.
I do see why they don't want to train many people to do such things. When you have providers all that's left is to fix demand.
And the whole artifical limb, thing... And that South African guy who sprinted so well when so many people can't walk...
Genuinely hard issues. Yeah.
That's when it's time to go play Rimworld and see about making a drug laboratory and bionic upgrades and...
Once this thesis is done so much swimming to do... So many computer games to play... So many more interesting books to be read...
So much more slaving to do for external examiners. No doubt.
