Why are you supposed to read? I think some people are readers and some are not. I read constantly and aways have, since early childhood. Mostly fiction, but also history, social commentary, some science. But my ex rarely reads anything besides the newspaper. Just not his thing. Studies show that women are the biggest consumers of fiction.
