Hi Alex,

I started on January 28.

It's real full on, just getting out of bed early enough to get to work on time is hard.

Definitely a shock, I had a few short term temp jobs, but hadn't worked a fulltime job in over a year.

Assuming I'm reading them right they all seem real nice. I've gotten "welcome" and "you're doing a good job" emails which make me feel like I am actually wanted and appreciated. I have major scars left from my last job where they obviously hated me and I didn't see it until they fired me.

It's about a 20 minute drive, while it's cold out I'm paying for parking in a covered structure that's a block away from the office. When it's warmer I'll probably do a much cheaper lot about a 15 minute walk to the office.

No, "business casual" so a nice pair of slacks and a sweater is okay.

I'm bringing my lunch, so far it's been salads or frozen microwavable meals. There's lots of food there: left overs from attorney conferences end up in the kitchen area on my floor. I'm the thinnest one in my department so they're like "you're skinny" eat. I am not skinny.
