i don't know what twitter is about...
but everyone is all over facebook. people post updates of what they are doing now... i guess in the hope that more people will come. so if people are out at a bar or whatever then they will post a pic...
then i guess more people turn up... or not...
ugh.
i don't like social networking. it was bad enough when it was fairly confined to face to face. and now... it is polluting the internet, too :(

i just... it takes so much effort for me to socialise. other people... it isn't conscious effort. it is fun. i need to think... do i really want to invest all this time into learning how to use facebook... buying a smart phone for email / facebook / photos that i can upload to facebook...
it just seems like an added stress...
of course not everyone is that into it... but i've been out of the loop since... forever. to the point where i probably need to make a pretend account just to get into the swing of things...
i... i don't like this at all.
(though to be fair i was wondering where people were drinking at conference and, of course, facebook knew). sigh.
thoughts on smartphones? i can't afford an i-phone or a high end samsung galaxy (though they seem to be the way people are going). want for... checking email. facebook, i guess. take the odd pic...
