Hi Phil.
You inspired me to post a few words that I wrote many years ago. For some reason, I had an eruption of poetry and prose that lasted for a few months. I'm sure the motivation to write had something to do with women.
I came up with this:
---------------------------------------------
FREEDOMFreedom to seek happiness. Freedom to settle for less.
If you feel less than free, then you are not free at all.
If you feel less than happy and fulfilled, perhaps you settle for mere content.
If you believe that happiness is not yours to have, you may never have it... although I assure you it waits for you.
If you believe that freedom is not yours to have, I hereby grant you your freedom... although it is not mine to give.
You must give it to yourself.
