Hi, everyone,
I learned recently that Maxime died about a year ago. A couple of us thought that those who knew her and appreciated her contributions here would like to know.
I thought this could be a thread in which we remember, and say goodbye to, her.
Maxime became a member of Babble in 2003 and detached herself from here in 2011. I remember she struggled mightily with self-hatred. I like to think she felt supported by this community in that struggle. I'm sad she's no longer with us, or even in this world.
Anybody else? If you feel moved to, please feel free to quote, or to link to, something she posted.
