There was an article on facebook yesterday on how young people had something like an unemployment rate of almost 17% or could have been higher. It said this was higher than the recession of the 70's. New jobs are not being created. So much for older people. These were educated people also. They say now in order to work it's imperitive for you to know someone who knows someone who can help you obtain employment. Also seems the jobs are part time now as no benefits needed. Those with benefits are cutting them back. The 40's and 50's crowd here have lost so many of their benefits. This is the banking city also. Phillipa
