I would be upset, too, if I felt people were treating me as if I were stupid.
What exactly do people do to make you feel stupid? Is it something you do or don't do, or is it something you are or are not? Are these people who treat you this way aware of your challenges with mental illness? Disclosure can lead to stigma and ostracism. This is an unfortunate foible of many members of society.
Not only are you not stupid, but you impress me as being quite smart. I really didn't have to include the previous sentence, but I did because that is what you demonstrate so obviously.
