Reminds us of how far we as a species are removed from our basic biology. The myriad constructs and requirements of "civilized" society are a great source of psychic pain for many of us, and we are best served by listening to our own common sense voices.
The skunk doesn't waste his time and energy trying to be normal. We shouldn't, either.
