In all honesty I can relate from the opposite perspective as my Mother had psoriasis covering her whole body. Only clear parts of her skin where palms of hands, soles of feet, and face. Scalp was covered. I know those plaques covered our floors. This was back in the 50's and 60's and no meds for it then but ultraviolet lamps and sun and coal tar. She would soak in a bathtub all night to loosen the scales. Horrible illness. She went on to develop psoroiasis rheumatoid arthritis which she said was worse than the psoriasis. Back then no meds. I lost her when she was 48 and I was 17 through complications of cortisone as was new then and they had no idea what it could do to you. So I do relate. I have feared getting it all my life and 65 now she got the psoriasis age 33 the arthritis maybe l0 years later. In a way you are lucky as I see so many new meds for your conditions available today. Which ones are you taking? Fibromyalgia didn't exist in the medical community then. Feel free to write to me. Phillipa
