Thank you Obsidian. That makes a lot of sense,
I just wish I could open up to her and have her understand me, with out her hurting me or reverting to religion instead of listening. Just have to accept the fact that this is how she is, and deal with it. It's difficult when one has an idealised view of what a mother should be like.
