Would it help if I told you that what you are feeling is normal for a LOT of people. I go through the same thing. I feel especially stupid for applying. I try to relax and tell myself that all I did was apply. I don't have the job yet. Because once I do get a job, that brings on a whole new set of different anxieties.

Link you are so intelligent. If you get the job, you will be able to teach whatever is thrown your way.

You were not stupid for applying for the job. You are showing ambition which is a great sign considering how your moods go up and down. If you were flat on your back with depression there is no way you would have applied for the job.

Try to let your body and brain go through the anxiety you are feeling without taking any extra meds. Remember, what you are feeling will not kill you. Of course if you go too long without sleep you will have to take something.

Let us know when you get the interview!
