I'm so sorry you are suffering. Is your illness psychiatric or physical?
I'm not so sure your wife would accept you letting her go, especially if you both still truly love each other.
I think it is very unselfish and kind to consider letting your wife go so that she can live a more full happy life. Have you ever considered that being with you, whatever you are or are not able to do, is enough for her to feel fulfilled?
Again, I'm so sorry for your suffering.
