I say normal too.

I talk to myself a lot. Most of my friends now know to ignore me if I'm muttering fairly low. My "for others" voice is much louder than my "for myself" voice.

I talk a lot while shopping and driving, sometimes around the house.

Some examples:

"oh no"

"what?"

"I just did that"

"oh and how"

"stop it"

"great"

"I love her" -referring to Ada :-)

"let's see"

"what are you going to do about it?"

"oh no you don't"

That's all I can think of now. Those are pretty much the usuals. I also talk to my cat. It helps. I pretend her meows are actually english words.

I think it's because I played by myself a lot and daydreamed a lot that makes it seem natural to talk to myself. I usually had to say a lot of things in my head so my mom wouldn't hear me speak them. Now I can speak them. (if that makes sense?)

I didn't find anything you said unusual. Except now I'm craving spaghetti LOL :-)
