I suppose it'd be up to the person, if they wanted to share their story.
My thoughts are somewhat cynical. If I were going to be a mother, I'd be hesitant to share my psychological issues since it might compromise other peoples' ideas about my competence as a mother. That might be an ignorant view point on the part of others, but I'd be protective nonetheless. Again, could be paranoia, but that's what came to mind.
