I don't think I can bollock you. I never did that before, that I knew of! I think you are saying I'm talking nonsense, and I should be insulted or something....but I'm not :-) It's a great word, a noun, an adjective, a verb....
I get they are age spots, I guess. Although it doesn't really make medical sense to say that. They are really sun damage. Just take till older ages to show themselves. I think I can lighten them if i want to. If it doesn't work, that's okay, too. Believe me, I hardly make a big deal out of anything to do with my appearance. When you are quite overweight, for me anyways, you don't ever feel so awfully good about your body, and so there are just some simpler things than losing weight you do sometimes...to feel a bit better.....maybe as a distraction...
I think a lot of woman like to try creams and things, here and there. Maybe some men, too? No big deal.
I'm glad you get to talk to beautiful women film stars, covered in brown spots that they don't mind...they must be really secure.... ;-)
