My therapist has this exercise that you might find helpful or interesting. He's trying to get me to complete it. You put all your memories of trauma or humiliation into this egg on a sheet of poster board or presentation paper. Then you talk about what they mean to you. I think it's supposed to release the shame or something.

He can't convince me to do it. But I could give you the information if you like.

However, I can't say I do. I was a persnickety child who potty trained herself way early, and brought changes of diaper to my mother as soon as I could pull myself up to the diaper bin, according to my mother. I can't recall back that far, but I do remember asking to change my clothes whenever they got a smudge of dirt on them (and this at a farm!), so while I allow for exaggeration, I believe the gist of the story.
