I'm too tired to go into detail---but it was something special. My Dad said that Mom gets sweeter with each passing day----and that now days-it's not unusual to be married for 50 years---just unusual for it to be to the same person. I am fortunate to witness an historical, odd defying love story unfold with a front row seat. Now I should ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzz
It really is special, Bobby. What a wonderful thing to have had that in your life. And for your kids to be able to experience it too. To be happy in a fifty year marriage is a real blessing that does indeed come along too often.
Very long marriages aren't all that uncommon around here. But very happy long marriages are less common.
