Yeah, it's a sad story. Some of my family are autistic so it touched a raw nerve. I don't think it was ever released at the box office - it's probably too downcast for a mainstream audience, but a great movie all the same. I thought it was better than Rain Man. I suppose it might appeal more to people who have been touched by autism. It's not often you see an autistic character take a lead role, so for me it's a very special movie.
